This intensive practical course takes place on selected Sundays, to enable you to take this course without it disrupting your existing work or teaching. Sessions are intense, lasting 7 hours, where a large amount of work and theoretical concepts will be addressed. Time is then given for you to absorb this, before moving on with the next session. In this way, your development is gradual but thorough. Creating teachers that are autonomous, creative and inspiring for their students.
This course aims to enhance your own Modern Theatre Dance technique, as well as developing your choreographic skills. It is a Dance Teaching course where you will be guided in ‘Best Practice’ concepts throughout your training.

Jackie believes in giving the best possible tuition to her students. Therefore she only uses very experienced Industry Professional DDE tutors, some of whom are also DDE examiners. This ensures her students are taught by those who are familiar with not only the fundamental requirements of the examinations, but those who have an innate understanding of how to develop her students beyond the minimum requirements, to find their potential!

What dance experience do I need to join this course?
Ideally, you will have experience of the ISTD Modern Theatre syllabus at a minimum of Intermediate or Advanced levels, however this is not compulsory, so please do contact us for more information.

Do I have to do have passed ISTD Intermediate Modern to join this course?
Ideally, you will have passed ISTD Intermediate (or higher) Modern Theatre prior to joining this course, however tuition can be provided (at an additional charge) for this if required
