The DDE (Diploma in Dance Education) can only be studied at an ISTD Approved Dance Centre with an ISTD Approved Tutor.
Jackie has been an ISTD Approved Tutor & Senior Assessor for many years.
In order to become a qualified ISTD teacher, the DDE qualification must be completed.
To apply to train for the DDE qualification, a candidate must have passed Intermediate in their chosen Dance Genre.
The DDE consists of 5 units.
Units 1,2,& 5 are required to be taken once. Units 3 & 4 will need to be completed in as many dance genres as you wish to teach.
Candidates should have some teaching experience, as the qualification builds on skills that are already being implemented & used on a regular basis.
